Tiny Treasures

Bill and Jan Sanders recently donated one of 20 new specialist cots to the maternity unit at Salisbury District Hospital. Their connection with the unit spans more than 60 years. Jan trained and worked there as a midwife, gave birth to her two sons at the unit and in 2007 welcomed her granddaughter Imogen there.
On a recent visit, Bill and Jan were able to see the cot in place, now named The Sanders Family Cot. Their generous gesture not only honours their family’s long-standing history with the unit but also helps ensure that future generations will benefit from the very best care.
